Shannon Tate-Giordano

Principal Designer & Founder

Shannon Tate Interiors was born from a foundational belief that home is medicine for the soul. While Shannon aims for each home she works on to be a unique reflection of its inhabitants, there is a consistent feeling of approachability and calm throughout all of her work.  Her spaces are curated but relaxed, refined but unpretentious, elevated but livable.

Shannon was dubbed a “force to be reckoned with” by Domino magazine after renovating her first home entirely on her own in 2016, just a few short years after opening her firm.  She brings this high level of exuberance to each of her projects, not only through designing the interiors, but also custom designing furniture, art and textiles for her clients.

Shannon is known for her holistic sensibility and love of people which is largely influenced by her previous work as a health coach, private chef and Reiki practitioner, which she did for 5 years prior to starting her firm.  While her formal Interior Design education had an auspicious beginning at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, she remains largely self taught.

Shannon’s work has garnered the attention of the countries top media outlets and has been featured in AD, Domino, Rue, Remodelista and more.

She has worked on full service design projects across the United States and extended her design services through 1 on 1 video consultation work and remote design for clients as far away as Australia and Spain.

After spending her formative years bouncing back and forth between New York City and Los Angeles, she settled down with her husband and daughter outside the Berkshires, in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts.
